Online ticket sales for this event will end at 4:00PM on Friday. After that time, you may purchase tickets at select MGM stores ($25) or at the door ($30). VIP tickets will not be available for purchase at the door.
It’s about bock not Bach. And this year, it’ll be BIGGER than ever in our new location! It’s the 17th annual City Pages Beer Festival, one of the longest-running events of its kind in the Midwest, Saturday, May 30, 2009 in downtown Minneapolis. Open to the public, this outdoor beer sampling event features a variety of the best domestic and imported beers available at metro area MGM locations, live music from White Iron Band, accordionist Bill Koncar and the Brian Boru Irish Pipe Band - plus, great people-watching!
Yes, we’ve moved! The City Pages Beer Festival has moved downtown near the Theater District! Come sample our new, larger home just off First Avenue North & 10th Street in Minneapolis (about one block southwest of the Orpheum Theater). More space, more flavor and more restrooms! Parking is available across the street or in the various downtown ramps near Target Center or the bus depot.
Advance tickets are $25, available at select MGM locations (new Lake Calhoun store near Whole Foods, Plymouth, Minnetonka and others) and online at www.citypages.com/beerfest. Tickets will be available at the door the night of the event for $30. An $8 designated driver ticket is also available. Admission includes all beer samples and live musical entertainment. Event is rain or shine.

Compare the taste of a low carb beer to the not-so low. Try the latest seasonal summer brews from some of your favorites along with the latest lemonades and other “malternatives” - the experts will be on hand to share the facts and dispel the fiction about all of their products.
A portion of proceeds from the tasting will benefit the St. Paul Jaycees. The festival takes place downtown just off First Avenue North & 10th Street N. in Minneapolis (one block southwest of the Orpheum Theater).
